GRANDPARENT/GRANDCHILDREN DAY 2021
On Tuesday, August 17 the UAW Maulfair Park was filled with children,
young adults, parents and grandparents They were there to
participate in Grandparent/Grandchildren Day sponsored by the UAW
Local 211 Retirees.
It was a very warm afternoon, but it did not faze the kids. It was great to see them having fun enjoying the park with family and friends. It has been a while since an event like this has taken place. It took the cooperation and work by several to make this day happen. I want to thank the vendors who worked with us to change dates, due to the weather. Second, Our UAW retiree members and family who volunteered to set up, serve and clean up; they did an awesome job!
